Watch, at least, the first 6 minutes of this television program that was broadcast in 1960. The writing back then was not as dumbed down as it is today. Even though we have collected more knowledge and fact, we are just as narrow minded in the scientific discovery as in the 1950-60's. After 50 year our population is still unable to use our technology, but we are controlled by it, most monetarily but uneconomically. When there was no proven understanding of the aurora there was understanding of the technology that we are still not using because of the influence of greed and power controlling the amount of evolution in technology.
