Making cherry wine

Pick the ripest cherries you can find
Mash them up without cracking the pits
Add half as much boiling water and let it sit for two days
Then add the same amount of hot water with a couple bags of sugar dissolved
Add a couple handfulls of minced raisins, yeast, and let it sit for two weeks in a warm place
Then strain and let it sit two more weeks
Finally siphon into bottles but don't seal them until all the fermentation has ceased
